Back on the slopes

I’ve enjoyed the first few days of the ski season at Whistler so far. We hiked up into Harmony on Sunday and found a few good spots to make some turns. Yesterday was beautiful and clear with fabulous views over Rainbow and the Tantalus ranges although conditions were a bit hard packed and the largest proportion of really bad snow boarders appeared to be on the hill at the same time.
I did a bit of biking and strengthening in the summer but still not enough, my wife who has done Crossfit for the summer blasted me on the uphill so she’ll be breaking trail for the rest of the season!
If you have any injuries that are affecting your performance, now is a good time to pop in for a session of osteopathy at my Whistler or Pemberton locations. Early osteopathic treatment can help prevent chronic injury by improving tissue function and prescribing specific exercises to strengthen the injured area.
